PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT
Psychological Support During Menopause
Menopause can affect both physical health and emotional wellbeing. Many women notice increased anxiety, changes in mood, sleep disruption or difficulties with confidence.
Research and guidance from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence suggest that Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) can help women develop strategies to cope with symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats and sleep difficulties. This is referenced in the NICE Guideline NG23: Menopause.
My peri and menopause coaching draws on CBT-informed approaches, helping you understand what is happening during menopause and develop practical tools to support your wellbeing.
If you are looking for CBT counselling for mental health concerns, please visit my counselling website www.endeavorcounselling.com for a free initial consultation.
